This one-of-a-kind ANTIQUE CHINESE PAO TAO DO was hand-woven of 100% wool in China over 100 years ago. It has a large, ornate patterned border and a beautiful pastoral scene featuring small deer and a graceful crane. This unique rug was woven by hand using shades of indigo, creamy beige and deep red. Its excellent quality and great condition make it a timeless piece of craftsmanship.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.
Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
