Sprouts is one of our thickest pile carpets, hand-woven in Nepal using our Yak Soo construction quality, a modified ancient Tibetan Tsukten weave. The pile height of Sprouts is about one inch thick, our most shag like carpet. The rich espresso brown color was achieved using all natural vegetable based dyes, and because the wool is not bleached there is variation in the color making each rug unique and impossible to replicate. Sprouts Dark Anise invites you to kick off your shoes and stay a while.

Our extremely handmade rugs may be of a slightly different size (up to 3 inches). This is due to the beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted nature of our rugs.

Cleaning and Care

Vacuum regularly. Loose threads should be trimmed with a scissor (do not pull!). Rug protectors are recommended. If your new rug is exposed to the sun, it is a good idea to rotate regularly to prevent uneven wear. Blot spills with a clean towel (white is best). Cleaning the entire rug should be handled by a professional rug cleaning service.
